The Mini Dior Cigale

For Cruise 2027, the Dior Cigale shifts scale and adopts a mini format. A play on proportions that distils the spirit of the bag designed by Jonathan Anderson: graphic, precise and resolutely couture.

Its silhouette draws inspiration from the architectural lines of a dress created by Christian Dior in 1952, which Jonathan Anderson has described as “my favourite dress in the entire history of fashion”. Its single handle, signature bow and sculpted folds accentuate its construction, while the intertwined letters of the name “Dior”, applied with a touch of whimsy, complete the design.

In this miniature version, Noir, Latte, Hermitage, Beige Trench and Ice Blue are paired with the pastel tones of Rose Soupir and Glycine. An adjustable and removable shoulder strap allows the bag to be worn in different ways.

The houndstooth motif also appears on a sequinned fabric, enhanced by a gold chain.

A selection of charms further punctuates the design. Among them, generous fabric flowers seem to bloom on the side of the bag, echoing Monsieur Dior’s passion for nature.

A reinterpretation of the Dior Cigale, available in-store from now.
