byFANG Couture Spring/Summer 2026 Between Paris and Shanghai, Fang Yang has developed a couture language rooted in transformation, precision, and balance.
Her early fascination with zhezhi—the traditional art of paper folding—continues to inform her approach to volume, structure, and movement, shaping silhouettes through intention rather than excess.
At byFANG, folding is not decorative but architectural. Fabric evolves from flatness to form through a deliberate sequence of tensions and releases, creating shapes that are both controlled and fluid.
This dialogue between rigor and lightness defines the Maison’s identity and reflects its genuine Franco-Chinese foundation, built in Paris and Shanghai by Fang Yang alongside entrepreneur Grégoire Caillol.
For Couture Spring/Summer 2026, Fang Yang extends this signature vocabulary through new origami-inspired shapes and a more exacting approach to construction. The silhouettes reveal greater intricacy and clarity, as structure and movement engage in an increasingly precise dialogue.
The color palette evolves with restraint. Light blue tones enter the season, bringing freshness and luminosity to the house’s essential black, white, and red. These shades animate the silhouettes, enhancing their depth while preserving the Maison’s architectural strength.
Couture Spring/Summer 2026 continues byFANG’s exploration of modern couture—where heritage and innovation meet through precision, emotion, and quiet power.
