For the Dior Men’s Winter 2022-2023 Collection designed by Kim Jones, Dior teamed up with Birkenstock for the first time, unveiling two reinvented iconic models.
The Birkenstock Tokio mules and Milano sandals with their anatomically-shaped cork latex footbed are respectively dressed in felt and suede, tinted with the colors of the season and the ever-present Dior gray.
As a tribute to Monsieur Dior’s passion for the art of gardening, they have a functional style thanks to rubber details and industrial buckles, the emblematic feature of the Saddle Bag.
The result of a unique creative dialogue, the soles of these objects of desire combine the Dior Oblique motif with the German Brand’s signature bone pattern.
As a final surprise, an exceptional version of the tokio embroidered with delicate flowers by the Vermont Ateliers completes the Show’s Couture silhouettes, a new symbol of Christian Dior’s love of nature. A contemporary ode to function and elegance, reflecting several areas of expertise.
