Dior Summer 2027 Women’s Show

The Summer 2027 Women’s Collection is a study of lightness, achieved through technical virtuosity. Tailleur is imagined as flou and air is treated almost as if it were a material – an inherent part of lace, silk mousseline or organza. The scale slides from transparency to opacity and back again.

Elements of the Autumn Winter 2026-2027 Collection return in new guises – flower-like shapes and volumes, iridescence and cropped silhouettes. Shifting into a summer sensibility, the collection anticipates a warm breeze: with lightness comes movement.

Long scarves draped over the shoulder and cascading earrings weighted with gemstones introduce asymmetry – a concept that underpins the collection as a whole.

Aspects of the Summer 2027 Men’s Collection are elaborated: in the sheer suiting, metallic five-pocket pants and embroidered black trompe l’oeil scarf motif, for example.

The essence of early Dior silhouettes is taken in new directions and jewellery is light and adjustable. In shoes, photographs of flowers are printed onto square-toe block heels and a new iteration of the Dior Bow Sandal is unveiled. A Dior Cigale shoe with a petal-shaped sole appears.

New versions of the Dior Double and Dior Initial Hobo are joined by compact shapes in supple leather. A new, biker-inspired bag with zipped pocket flaps, cannage stitching and metal D-I-O-R hardware has been crafted in a range of colorways. A silver-finish minaudière takes the form of a wénwán walnut – a pair of which was sent to guests as the show invite (the practice of hand-rolling these nuts is a longstanding Chinese cultural tradition). Playful mesh bags can be customised with fringed silk scarves or clusters of sheer georgette petals stitched onto silk mousseline crêponée – mirroring the dresses in the collection.

Throughout, the Dior ateliers make the unconventional possible. Fluidity and lightness prevail.
