Dior Cruise Campaign at LACMA Features Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee and More

DIOR CRUISE 2027 CAMPAIGN

Featuring Dior muses Jennifer Lawrence, Greta Lee, Taylor Russell and Drew Starkey, the Dior Cruise 2027 Campaign is photographed by Sam Rock.

At the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) – where the Dior Cruise 2027 Show also took place – Rock captures the actors “playing” themselves as they wander amongst the galleries.

Laughing together, contemplating the art or drifting into reverie, Lawrence, Lee and Russell convey the feeling that, just as Hollywood is a “dream factory”, the museum offers space for the imagination to roam.

Each actor has a particular interest in art, lending authenticity to their reactions even as the images are carefully composed. Color provides a focus: Jonathan Anderson’s palette for the collection evokes sun-drenched California, Hollywood’s Technicolor era and the bold aesthetics of Pop Art.

New bags are featured, including the Dior Double, a two-handled satchel worn by Greta Lee and the Dior Initials Hobo, with a triangular shape and stitched cannage motif as seen on Taylor Russell. Drew Starkey carries the versatile Dior Double-Up Messenger, an oversized shape with double buckles and flaps. The Dior Granville line also appears: the Dior Granville Shopper in black leather with silver-finish hardware and the Dior Granville Duffle in suede with contrast cannage stitching.

Starkey also wears classic American shirts from Dior’s collaboration with Ed Ruscha, emblazoned with text from the artist’s work.

DIOR CRUISE 2027 CAMPAIGN

The campaign plays with the way images are mediated in contemporary culture. Are the actors acting for the camera, or not? Is that a shirt, or an artwork? Is Drew Starkey friends with Pieter Dircksz, the man portrayed in a painting by Dutch artist Frans Hals?

Claude Monet’s Water Lilies (circa 1908), on view at the LACMA and featured throughout the series, sparks thoughts of Paris – where the Musée de l’Orangerie houses the artist’s iconic Nymphéas – and of the water lilies that bloom in the Dior Autumn Winter 2026-2027 Collection.

Across continents, artworks and collections, Monsieur Dior’s love of flowers continues.
