With the summer season underway, Louis Vuitton is pleased to announce the re-opening for the season of the Le Bar Louis Vuitton and the store in Taormina. Amidst the historic surroundings of this idyllic Sicilian town, the store will have a resort focus, while Le Bar Louis Vuitton – on the rooftop of the store – offers one of the most breathtaking views in Taormina.
Le Bar Louis Vuitton
Accessed via a private street entrance, Le Bar Louis Vuitton invites guests to step into an extraordinary rooftop setting. With panoramic views of both the sea and the city, the space instantly conjures a lush and creative atmosphere, enhanced by light furnishings, blue and white textiles, and giant plants — a bold expression in harmony with sea beyond. With 38 seats, the bar offers a relaxed space for guests to enjoy a leisurely bite.
Le Bar Louis Vuitton will function as an elegant oasis, an exclusive evening-only destination that promises a truly unique experience, combining luxury, the unmistakable Louis Vuitton aesthetic, and the authentic charm of Sicily. The new and exclusive menu offers a perfect balance between luxury snacking to share and enjoy with sophisticated drinks.
The ingredients are sourced from Sicilian producers and reinterpret Italian and Sicilian classics. Guests can’t miss the Arancino alla norma – a delicious rice ball with tomato, eggplant and baked ricotta – Capocollo di Suino Nero accompanied by Buffalo Burrata, and the Bruschetta di Tonno among the others. The delicious dishes are embellished by delicate Monogram flowers details and served on the precious tableware Blue, Monogram Flower Tile Collection. The beverage menu does not disappoint expectations: cocktails and mocktails combines tradition and innovation in a wide offer that meets the most refined tastes.
The Store
From the ground level through the first floor of the resort store, clients will discover each of the universes within a luminous and warm space in bleached and natural oak. The location offers the perfect setting for the House’s new resort collection that spans ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, accessories, the Objets Nomades and more, including the exclusive Taormina Neverfull. Vintage furnishings and design objects are also consistent across Louis Vuitton locations while raffia wallpaper and Sicilian Maiolic carpets are unique to Taormina. Glass shelves suspended from ropes in natural fibres bring lightness to the sophisticated environment, and a bas relief along the staircase alludes to the Sicilian landscape.
For those spending their holidays in Taormina, both the store and the Le Bar Louis Vuitton provide a destination to discover the House infused with the singular character of Sicily, the quintessential Italian spirit of hospitality – warm and unforgettable.
