SUMMER VIBES

There’s a summer breeze gently wafting through this unique new line of objects by Cordelia de Castellane, themed around sculptural pineapple motifs enhanced by subtle relief effects and delicate plays on transparency. The tropical fruit — a timeless symbol of sunshine that featured as the central motif in a Dior tableware collection from summer 1973 — now is reinterpreted and enhanced by the beauty of Italian blown glass, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship. Refined shades of green and ochre adorn a carafe, a vase and a precious decorative bubble.

Paying ode to getaways and to the sweetness of life, these creations bring a sunny spirit to home interiors and moments of sharing.

CANNAGE PROVENCE

At each of his fashion shows, held in the salons of 30 Avenue Montaigne, Christian Dior would seat guests on elegant Napoleon III-style chairs with seats decorated in canework, a graphic code that has become an iconic House emblem.

Reinterpreted by Cordelia de Castellane in various dimensions and unexpected proportions, this symbol has been enriched with a new version. On dessert plates, it interacts with two lucky charms dear to Dior’s heart: the clover and the bee, a nod to Christian Dior’s pet names for the virtuoso petites mains in the House’s ateliers. These creations elegantly complete a set of green and beige porcelain tableware. On a range of new decorative objects, rattan canework and Plexiglas mingle in a light, delicate interplay of materials. A contemporary and joyful evocation of the art of gifting and entertaining Monsieur Dior held dear.
