PFW: Dior Spring-Summer 2026

The Dior Spring-Summer 2026 collection by Jonathan Anderson explores the language of the House: from its preserved heritage to an empathetic vision of its long history. A dialogue between past and present, harmony and tension, boldness and calm, the grand and the commonplace. Change is inevitable.

Unveiled on October 1 at the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, the Dior collection by Jonathan Anderson explores the language of the House through an empathetic reinterpretation of its heritage.

The creative director informed his vision with some inventively interpreted archival references. Bows – an enduring code – were embraced in a wide variety of ways, from pinch-front coats and draped cotton drill miniskirts to airy lace dresses and Dior Cigale top handle bags.

Shrunken Bar jackets acquired sculptural volumes, and pieces such as lean rippling capes and voluminous shorts forged a communality with his June debut and the House’s couture renown. The result possesses a compelling tension, offering a multitude of attitudes and self expressions.

The stark show space designed by Luca Guadagnino and Stefano Baisi merged the digital with the physical. As related through the imagery of a specially commissioned work by documentary filmmaker Adam Curtis, the House’s history flashed in front of the guests’ eyes on an inverted LED pyramid before magically imploding into a Dior shoe box. It symbolized a stored past that can be revisited like memories.
