Under Maria Grazia Chiuri’s final creative direction, Tim Walker captures Dior’s new visual lexicon—using fisheye lenses, architectural staging, and Orlando‑inspired themes—to merge romance, resistance, and redefined femininity in anticipation of Jonathan Anderson’s debut.
Clothing as a vector for transformation and affirmation. For the autumn-winter 2025-2026 ready-to-wear collection, the House revisits Dior heritage by weaving a fascinating exchange with the history of fashion. The silhouettes bear witness to the passage of time. Captivating shots by artist Tim Walker showcase this modern wardrobe – a repertoire of possibilities – reflecting the idea of metamorphosis.
Offering a wonderful guiding thread, the fluid, timeless figure of Orlando, the leading character of Virginia Woolf’s initiatory novel, pervades the entire campaign. With an interplay of various perspectives and optical illusions, the images express the power of style.
In a dreamlike decor – Hatfield House in England – the looks are firmly rooted in the present. Crinoline dresses are shortened to better accompany movement, while bustiers and corsets are enhanced with zips and systems that allow volumes to be shaped. Daringly bold, the jacket – in all its variations – and ultra-structured coats are dressed in delicately crafted velvet.
Drawing on the Dior archives, white shirts – a signature of Gianfranco Ferré – and the iconic J’adore Dior T-shirt conceived by John Galliano are reinvented.
Inspired by menswear, the shoes epitomize the line’s spirit of change, as exemplified by the Dior Dandy derbies and the Dior Novel loafers. Combining singularity and practicality, the bags feature soft curves highlighted by subtle finishes.
A creative odyssey, an invitation to venture away to an idyllic elsewhere, between memory, the present, and what has yet to (be)come.
