Laura Pausini in Genny for “Io Canto ● Yo Canto World Tour 2026/2027”
Laura Pausini, an icon of Italian and international music, returns to the stage for the “Io Canto ● Yo Canto World Tour 2026/2027”, a global tour that will touch major cities worldwide. For the Montevideo stop in Uruguay, the first date in South America, the artist wore two custom looks created by GENNY.
The collaboration between Laura Pausini and Sara Cavazza Facchini is renewed through a creative dialogue built on a shared vision, where fashion and music meet on an international stage. For the tour, the Creative Director designed two looks that enhances the artist’s stage presence, interpreting her energy and intensity through a strong and sophisticated language.
For her first look, Laura wore a custom silver dress inspired by a contemporary warrior woman. The gown blends strength and femininity through metallic accents and a glamorous “armor” effect. Crafted from form-fitting stretch knit, it is entirely covered in luminous micro-crystals that create a dynamic geometric pattern, enhancing the silhouette. The high neckline and clean lines balance the intensity of the sparkle, while the bodycon fit makes it perfect for shining on stage during the performance.
For her second look, she wore a custom black mini dress with a bold character, where the contrast between the luminous bodice, enriched with intricate embroidery, and the flared skirt creates a feminine and contemporary silhouette. The crossed detail at the waist enhances the figure with elegance. A sophisticated dress, capable of capturing every gaze.
The collaboration continues over time: for the WORLD TOUR WINTER 2024, Laura had already worn a red sequin Genny gown, and for this new tour it will continue from April 10 to May 14, 2026, across all South American dates.
