Louis Vuitton presents the new LV Ski collection, a winter silhouette where alpine altitude meets urban elegance.
As winter approaches, Louis Vuitton unveils the LV Ski collection. Designed for exploring snow-covered resorts as well as sharing cosy moments in the city, this complete collection for women and men creates a dialogue between the mountains and après-ski. Combining elegance and versatility, the collection takes the House’s Art of Travel to new heights.
LV Ski Women’s Collection
The pieces in this dynamic and refined collection can be matched to create a resolutely alpine total look, or combined in endless ways for a more urban and refined silhouette.
New designs in cashmere and brushed silk, including hooded jackets, set the tone. Some feature an embroidered denim pocket alongside Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram jacquard, while others capture the exhilarating atmosphere and energy of mountain peaks. In soft hues, cosy cashmere piqué knitwear and LV initials meet Sherpa denims.
A sophisticated vision of protective clothing, sumptuous coats and capes emerge as everyday essentials. The bags come in icy, iridescent hues, featuring Monogram Pearly, Monogram Miroir and Monogram Empreinte Frozen lines. The Monogram Miroir, in silver, recalls the beauty of glaciers. A nod to a collection of metal trunks from 1891, these bags take on a new rainbow holographic finish for a retro-futuristic aesthetic.
The mood shifts to relaxation with the “Cosy Après-Ski” spirit, combining cashmere and shearling on iconic styles, including the Capucines bag. The LV Lodge and Ice Breaker bags infuse a playful touch while embodying the House’s unique savoir-faire. Inspired by the enchanting atmosphere of traditional French Alpine ski villages, they capture their magical, fairytale-like spirit.
Footwear options abound. The Cortina line comprises a mule and a boot offered in suede leather, lined with shearling, or in leather and technical nylon stamped with the Monogram motif. These distinctive designs feature a lug sole. The Rangers Territory ankle boot is imagined in leather, suede and shearling. The sneakers combine suede and shearling, offered in black, camel, powder pink and ecru, beige tones.
Finally, Louis Vuitton unveils LV360, a new generation of ski goggles. Inspired by the world of virtual reality, the line combines a sculptural silhouette with technology and performance to deliver an immersive mountain experience. Designed to adapt to changing light and weather conditions, the goggles feature an innovative interchangeable lens system for quick, intuitive lens changes.
LV Ski Men’s Collection
Every ready-to-wear piece has been designed with comfort in mind, without compromising on technical performance or style. A puffer jacket adorned with the Monogram Macassar motif, paired with matching trousers, incorporates side panels for greater freedom of movement. For an urban look, a coordinated set combines technical fabric with a denim-effect finish and corduroy details, while a snowboarding hooded sweatshirt pairs a water-repellent outer layer with an integrated, ventilated face protection. The relaxed spirit of the 1990s carries through to the après-ski wardrobe, characterised by loose-fitting silhouettes, checked patterns and workwear-inspired details. Versatile and reversible, a fleece gilet is ideal for layering over a brushed fleece rugby shirt with a denim collar.
Winter-inspired interpretations of the House’s iconic motifs characterise the menswear collection through the Monogram Argyle pattern. Sweatshirts, with or without hoods, feature the Monogram Needle-punch technique or Monogram Snowflake jacquard, creating an optical illusion of swirling snow. The LV Skier logo and graphic LV Summit motif, in snow-white and earthy tones, embody the thrill of high-speed winter adventures in refined style.
Like stars glittering in the night sky, leather goods are in the spotlight for the LV Ski collection. Crafted in a sparkling canvas, the Monogram Reflective design adorns the Keepall 25, Trio Messenger, Discovery Backpack and Rush Bumbag bags. Gold shearling styles, enhanced with grained leather trims and luggage tags embossed with the Monogram motif, include the Christopher Backpack, Keepall 25, Rush Bumbag XL and Keepall. Finished with a pocket and leather trim, the iconic Speedy P9 30 is crafted in velvety calfskin with a trompe-l’œil denim effect and white shearling details.
Designed for high-altitude exploration, the LV City Ranger hiking boot comes in suede-finish shearling and two-tone versions combining leather, suede and alligator leather. The iconic LV Trainer is reinterpreted in black, beige or brown shearling, as well as Snow Monogram leather and trompe-l’œil denim-effect leather.
Beanies decorated with the Monogram Snowflake motif, Washed Signature Beanies featuring a washed denim effect and oversized embossed “Vuitton” signatures, together with scarves, add warm, stylish touches to winter looks. Finally, the collection offers new versions of the LV Lock mask in multiple colourways and interchangeable lenses with or without the Monogram motif.
